Please have your child complete the activities listed for each day. For any written assignments, take a picture and send it to me through CLASS DOJO so I can give your child a grade and mark them present for each day.

Monday 5/18

Letter Race
Cut out 10 pieces of paper. On each paper, write one letter of the alphabet. Lay the letter papers on the floor at the far end of a room. Have your child stand on the other side of the room. Call out a letter and have your child hop to find the right letter paper on the floor.
For example, "Go find letter F." The child would hop to the other side of the room and grab the letter F.

Tuesday 5/19

Letter S Craft

Create an object that begins with the letter Ss.

A Sweet Goodbye to my PreK Friends

Read Aloud

Take time today to read a story with your child. Reading stimulates the brain, helps students identify letters and sounds, and contributes to growth in word recognition. While reading, have your child answer some of the following questions:

  • What is the title of the story?

  • Who is the author?

  • Who were the characters in the book?

  • What events happened in the story?

  • Can you describe some of the pictures you see in the story?

On a piece of paper, draw your friends a picture to say goodbye and happy summer. Pretty soon, your summer will be here and Kindergarten with the big kids will be near!
